I Have a Dream...

Today we celebrate and honor Dr. Martin Luther King; a man who had a dream of America as a great nation for all God’s children.
Dr. King didn’t just dream of equality, he committed his life to it. He shared his dream, most notably on August 28, 1963 during the March on Washington. An estimated 250,000 people attended the march for civil rights that day. Countless others listened to the speech on radio and TV.
What if Dr. King had remained silent; had held his dream to himself? While America and the world at large are still a long way from the equality Dr. King envisioned, imagining the world without his dream is not a comforting thought.
You likely have a dream of your own; a cherished aspiration, ambition or ideal for humankind. Imagine the world for who we can be together through the power of our collective dreams; a level of world consciousness that builds upon and honors what Dr. King started so many years ago.
Share your dream in the comment section below. Commit to it. Be the light. Replace hesitation with expectation. There is so much you can do when you bring the best of what lies within you into the world. There is no limit to what we can do together.
